Roses is an original artwork in oils, measuring 153cm x 101cm. It is finished in a high gloss varnish, giving a feeling of opulence and as if you are surrounded by a bed of roses. It shows all the beautiful stages of roses - from bud to decay, and the more you look at it the more you see.

Once you’re happy with the concept, I’ll begin the meticulous process of painting, layering oil paints to build up the richness and depth that define my style.
After the painting has dried, I’ll add a final layer of varnish to protect and enhance the colours.
